Crookes' Residual Ectometron

The talented Dan Baines brings us Crookes' Residual Ectometron, an electromechanical spirit communication device. For safety's sake remember that discorporeal entities are just like people. They don't have to tell the truth and quite possibly aren't who they say they are.

I’m enjoying this assembly of parts greatly, because it’s like Rube Goldberg meets Steampunk. Part of the fun is identifying the components. All it really needs to finish it off is a Wimhurst Generator or a Jacob’s Ladder, aka high voltage traveling arc -- Forrest Ackerman would love it.
